To protect the PCBA from environmental conditions ( temperature, moisture, dirt, etc), chemicals and corrosion use of coatings is sometimes required.

Inventec offers new generation Conformal Coatings based in ABchimie technology used to extend the working life of electrical and electronic assemblies and ensure reliability of performance, especially in harsh environments.

Used mainly in Automotive, Aerospace, Military, Energy and Transportation applications.

An alternative to conformal coating is 3M NOVEC Electronic Grade Coatings. These are fluoropolymer coatings for challenging components in PCBA’s, LED Lighting displays, MEMS and flexible circuits. They also provide anti-stiction properties for MEMS wafers.
